We often hear people proclaim "You lost and we won" as their reason why those who do not support Obama's agenda need to "sit down, shut up, and let Obama run things." Was this past election any different than most elections? The answer is a loud yes! Here is why:
(1) In this election, there was clearly no vetting of Obama. Many did not know his position on the issues; (2) In the Democratic Primary, almost as many Americans voted AGAINST Obama as voted for him; (3) Many things came out about Obama after Super Tuesday which, had they been known sooner, the result may have been different; (4) With almost one-half of Democrats against him, many voted just for the Democratic candidate; (5) Let's face it! Many voted for Obama simply because he is black; (6) Clearly, Obama has little regard for the American Voter. Mr. Biden had run in the Democratic Primary for President THREE (3) TIMES in the past. Each time, he was knocked out of the primary very early...never finishing in even the top three. Yet, President Obama chose Biden to be next in line for President in the event something happened to Obama; (7) Add in Americans who voted for a third party or #3 or #4 in the Democratic Primary.
So you see, over 73% of Americans said that Obama was not their first choice to be President of the United States. If there was ever a President that SHOULD NOT believe he has a "Mandate" to institute sweeping changes to our Economic System, our Military, our Educational System, our Constitution, or our Culture, it is Obama. American's have the God Given Right, indeed the obligation, to exercise their Freedoms of Speech, Assembly, the Press, and even Religion, to show their lack of support for his agenda.
Responding to Anonymous Comment: From the No Obama Mandate page: "So you see, over 75% of Americans said that Obama was not their first choice to be President of the United States." I don't see where 75% came from. Can you clarify? Name: Anonymous
