Do they love"AMERICA"
What if your spouse asked you if you loved him or her? Your answer was "yes, but":
I want to change the way you do your hair;
I want to change what your religious beliefs are;
I want to change what you wear;
I want to change what kind of car you drive;
I want to change how you educate your children;
I want to change the expression on your face;
I want you to change your complexion;
I want you to change your occupation;
I want to change your attitude about abortion;
I want to change your attitude about gay marriage;
. . . and I want to change dozens of other things about you. I want
to remake you into the spouse I want you to be...but, yes, I do love you.
The question "just what was it that you loved about me again?" may come up at some point. Or "did you just love me because you found me to be vulnerable and you thought you could change everything about me and control me?"
During the Presidential Primaries and the runup to the General Election, there was often the discussion of which side loves the USA. Sometimes it would be said that both sides love America. That they both love America but one side has a different idea about what America should be. When one party spoke about change, many people thought the change being spoken of was fixing what was broken and working together.
Ameritianity submits that it would appear that there is a vast difference in how people and organizations view "Love of America". At Ameritianity:
We love the foundation upon which America was build. We don't want it ignored or destroyed.
We love our Constitution. We don't want it trashed, avoided, or circumvented.
We love the economic system that has made the USA great. We aren't Socialists or Marxists.
We don't believe in attacking gays, but we don't want to be forced to condone what we see as wrong.
We believe marriage is between one woman and one man. We don't want definitions changed.
We believe in our legal system and don't support certain groups having their own. Like Sharia Law.
We believe our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian Principles. Look at the inscriptions on our buildings.
We believe that God has blessed America in the past, and we continue to ask God to bless America.
We support and appreciate those who serve and have served to keep America, and our allies, free.
We believe in protecting America from invasion by illegal actors who don't respect our laws & soverignty.
We believe that America must remain strong for ourselves and other freedom loving people.
We believe that Mr. Obama has intentionally misled Americans about his past, his beliefs, and his goals and objectives for America in order to be elected President.
We believe that, based on current actions, statements of intent, and appearant direction and goals, Mr. Obama does not share the vision for America shared by our Founders and the vast majority of legal American Citizens today.
No, we do not believe that Mr. Obama and many of the Liberal Democratic leaders in Washington love our America, our Constitution, Individualism, Freedom, Moral Absolutes, our Bill of Rights, Competition, America's unique position in and responsibility toward our world. We question whether or not they really believe God can and has blessed America.
We believe that the success of our nation, our way of life, our political and economic systems, our desire for the Blessings of God, are more important than political party affiliation and loyalty.
If you love America, don't support her destruction! Pray for our Nation. Pray for our leaders that God would impress upon them His desire to lead them and lead our nation. We pray that President Obama is "successful" in seeking God's Will for himself and the USA and that President Obama "fails" in attempting to implement policies, acts, and directions that would be contrary to God's Wlll for this Blessed Nation...the USA.
