Interesting that those who oppose VOUCHERS insist that to have VOUCHERS that can be used to pay for the education of our children in private or Christian schools would be forcing taxpayers to pay for "Religious Education" that they don't agree with when in fact what has been happening for the past 50 years is that people who do have a faith perspective have been forced to have THEIR tax dollars used to promote an educational system that works against their faith, morals, culture, and objectives, and has failed EVERYONE in the system.

It is time to realize that "TAX DOLLARS" are "CITIZENS DOLLARS," that Americans have the right to educate their chirdren in the SYSTEM they choose, and that what will work is for any government collected funds for education to follow the student to the choice of the parents. COMPETITION will be good for both private and public schools. Education should not be regulated or implemented nationally. It should be run locally.

John Dewey is recognized as the Father of modern education. The N.E.A. gave him high recognition for his works. Much of his changes to schools was made possible by the theory of evolution being so strongly accepted after the writings of Charles Darwin. John Dewey wrote a theory of education and democracy that was based on evolution.

It is from Dewey's own words that you can see his true intentions. He wrote and helped write the Humanist Manifesto after returning from a trip to meet with others of like mind in eastern europe. Two books he wrote tell how he planned to accomplish the goals laid out in the Humanist Manifesto through America's public school system. The first title is Faith in Education and the second is Democracy and Education.

Getting education de-centralized, getting bad teachers and the NEA & National Unions out of the formula, getting competition into the system, DISCIPLINING STUDENTS, getting the promotion of alternative lifestyles out should be some of our goals.

We must realize that the "Father of Public Education in America," John Dewey, was a signor of and writer of most of the Humanist Manifesto. The main focus of both public education and humanists is to defeat Christianity in America. As Christians, we should not sacrafice our children, or think they are missionaries to the public school system at the age of 3-18. We should protect them and "raise them up in the way they should go."
