American Business and Industry also has an obligation to do what is best for America!
Each American Institution has the obligation to do what is best for America.
We Conservatives often speak about the need for individuals to remember our foundation, to remember the foundation upon which America was established, and to be true to those ideals. “In God We Trust” is our motto. We believe our rights are derived from our Creator God and are not merely the ideas of man.
We believe that our God is active in the affairs of man. We believe our God has blessed our nation . . . that He has told us that if His People will humble ourselves and pray, then He will heal and bless America.
We believe that our rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness come from God . . . and that the Pursuit of Happiness has no meaning without Liberty . . . and Liberty has no meaning without Life. We must stand for life.
We have recognized a decline in American Government in recent years. We now have leaders in America who seek to replace our God Based System with the Godless ideas of a few men . . . they seek to remove God and replace our true Founding Father with man-made Humanism found in Statism, Socialism, Communism, Marxism. We must stand for integrity and faithfulness in our elected and appointed officials and demand that they each remain true to their oath of office requiring them to uphold the laws of our nation . . . our Constitution . . . our Declaration of Independence.
However, as Free Market / Capitalists we must also be willing to take a look at yet another American Institution . . . our Economic System . . . Business in America. We must recognize that the same forces that seek to destroy the individual and the system of government in America also seek to destroy the Economic System in America. We must now demand that American Companies and any company seeking to do business with or in America, must adhere to our business ethics and values. We don’t allow cheap slave labor . . . we don’t allow labor that is not fairly compensated . . . we don’t allow the theft of intellectual property . . . we don’t allow intolerable working conditions.
When an American company chooses to move business from America to another country for manufacturing and service providing, for the purpose of saving money, that savings is most often due to the fact that the manufacturing and service is being done by people who are being taken advantage of by their own government, their own system, which does not have the standards, expectations, or living standards we expect a business system to generate in a Nation. By doing business with a nation that could care less about their citizens . . . and their system of Government and Economics is a failure . . . we are in fact propping up a system that must fail and we are making it appear that their system is successful because we pump billions of dollars into their government coffers which are then used to promote and spread their failed systems.
Because we have been willing to do business with failed political and economic systems overseas, supposedly to save money and make products easier and less expensive to purchase, we have in fact destroyed jobs in America making it more difficult for Americans to purchase products and services at any price due to unemployment. Unemployment has made more and more Americans dependent on a dwindling work force, reduced the amount of wealth and income in America, reduced tax revenues required for the maintenance and defense of America. The time has come for We Conservatives to demand that American Business put America first . . . in the same way we expect this of our citizens and our Public Servants. We must not close a blind eye to business practice that is corrupt and anti-American.
